8: Introspection


As a game developer, I’ve started many projects that I’ve since discontinued. You’re A Duck 3/4 got a half baked unfinished half update. Echo Strike got cancelled. My 2D horror game was cancelled. My other 3D horror game, untitled, was cancelled. Random Bullshit Go stopped being a thing. Get the idea yet? I’m inconsistent and unreliable.

A consistency amongst my inconsistencies is that I’ve released these games to the public for suggestions, updates, and etcetera. In reality, it takes a loooong time to actually make a videogame. Years. So, I’m going to be announcing something that might be released sometime in the next couple years. No hints, nothing, until the game is in an absolutely playable state and just needs early access testing. I need to learn how to genuinely code, make materials that look good, 3D model and assemble maps.. and so so much more. I’ll get back to you guys here, but from here on out this will likely be the last #gamedev post. <3
